About LegitBa? & disclaimer
LegitBa? ("Is it legit?") is a free "check before you pay" tool for Filipinos who get a Canada job offer: caregivers, farm, food processing, hospitality, trades, healthcare and more. We put official public lists in one search box, with the source and date on every result.
Important: what a result means
- A match only means the name appears on that official list as of the date shown. It is not proof that a job offer is real. Scammers often use real company names.
- Not found does not mean a scam. The LMIA list excludes employers that use personal names (like most families hiring caregivers), names are typed by hand, and the newest quarter is published months later.
- We never call a named business a scam. The only negative status we show is what an official list says (for example, IRCC's non-compliant list).
- Information only, not immigration or legal advice. For your case, talk to a licensed RCIC or a lawyer.

Corrections: if an official list changes, the next refresh picks it up. Employers who think ESDC's LMIA data is wrong can contact ESDC at NA-TFWP-PTET@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca (as stated in the dataset). LegitBa? is independent and not affiliated with any government.
